Small Business Loan Requirements

In order for an application to be considered, the application must be completed fully, signed and accompanied by the following:

• Business Plan with Cash Flow Projection
• Current Personal Net Worth Statement for each partner / shareholder
• Birth Certificate(s) of the Principals
• Curriculum Vitae for Principals/Officers
• Non-refundable Application Fee of $75.00, payable to Northumberland CFDC

Note: If the application is approved there is an Administration Fee of 1.5% of the approved loan (minimum of $100 to a maximum of $1500). The $75 Application Fee will be deducted from the Administration Fee if the loan is approved and advanced.

After review of your business plan, additional documentation may be required, such as:

• Copy of Business Registration
• Articles of Incorporation
• Partnership Agreement

In addition, for Existing Businesses:

• Financial Statements for the past 3 years
• Aged Listing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

The business applying for financing must also meet the following criteria:

• The business must be located inside Northumberland County
• The financing should be used for the ultimate purpose of job creation or maintenance
• The business will normally have previously applied for Bank financing
