Cultural Sector Loans

Proposal 1: Loans from $1,000 to $25,000

The Cultural sector loan is designed for all art forms to provide artists, with the flexibility needed to invest in their studio’s, their work and their businesses. The goal is to create a competitive advantage through innovation and continued Canadian quality.

These loans will also create new opportunities for graduating students in the cultural sector to pursue careers in Northumberland County. Banking on our Culture will stimulate and encourage new approaches to expanding local cultural economies.

The loans are available to provide start up capital as well as capital purchase and venture capital.

The Cultural Sector Loan is tailored to meet the unique challenges of artists/craftsperson's by providing financing options that help our clients initialize production and get to the critical commercialization phase.
