Local Initiatives Program

Delivered in partnership with local municipalities and/or area not-for-profit organizations, or Aboriginal organizations, applications will stimulate business and economic development opportunities and may support activities such as; community economic development projects, research projects, marketing/promotional activities, tourism events, seminars/workshops, technology/innovation projects, and small scale capital projects. Special consideration will be given to those applications that focus on innovative technologies and green initiatives.
