Lynn Phillips
Lynn Phillips, previous Program Manager of the Ontario Self Employment Benefit program has accepted an internal transfer to a vacancy in the Community Futures program as a business specialist effective January 12, 2009.
As Program Manager, Lynn has significant demonstrable results in assisting clients in the launch of over 1000 small businesses over the past decade throughout Northumberland and Peterborough County.
Her unique perspectives on small business; coupled with her personal business experience, Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and community economic development certification from Simon Fraser University provide a solid base to further refine the delivery of the Community Futures mandates in assisting, through loans and counselling, small and medium enterprise to prosper throughout Northumberland County.
In addition, Lynn will work collaboratively with multiple community partners in assisting the small business and manufacturing sectors to respond to business opportunities as well as pursuing other opportunities to leverage the Community Futures program for the betterment of our region.
